Lindsey Dymond, President of Kalapawai Market

Lindsey Dymond's childhood was spent working alongside his father, Don Dymond, at the historic Kalapawai Market starting at just 10 years old. Following his father's passing in 2014, Lindsey took over as the President. Under his leadership, the market has diversified its offerings to include coffee, cookies, merchandise, and more, all while preserving its beloved "little green store" ambiance, which beckons customers to reminisce about Hawaii's past. Lindsey's dedication to honoring tradition while embracing innovation ensures Kalapawai Market remains a cherished community hub, embodying the spirit of Hawaii's hospitality for generations to come.

Butch Galdeira, President of Diamond Bakery

Butch Galdeira was born and raised in Kailua Oahu and is the President of Diamond Bakery, one of Hawaii’s most iconic brands, Known for its Soda Crackers, Creem Crackers, and Cookies. Before joining Diamond Bakery in 2022, he had an 18-year career with Aloha Petroleum and has served in several different roles through the years, including as the Director of Retail Operations, overseeing nearly 500 employees, 55 convenience stores, and eight restaurants statewide. Butch is also very passionate about serving our communities and is currently a Board Member of the Hawaii Chamber Of Commerce and recently served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Aloha Harvest. Aloha Harvest is an excellent organization that rescues perishable foods from entering our landfills and diverts those foods to agencies in need. In January of 2023, Butch was appointed by Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi and confirmed by the City Council to serve a five-year term as a Honolulu Fire Commissioner for the Honolulu Fire Department.
